Under the new alias Birthname, they invite us straight back into the dawn mists and late night twists of smoke and steaming tea. This time, the ritualistic sequencing of warped percussion, field recordings and sub frequencies are in honour of glyphs, ancient sites and goddess worship.
Harmonic waves of rising vapour, melodic curls of angelic voice and thunderous grounding bass are decorated and bound together by intricate head-nodding drum patterns. There's a heavy warmth and richness to what Birthname creates, and there's always a sparkle, a shimmering and dancing amongst the layers.
